Beetles facts Beetles are one of nature's most prominent examples of overcoming adversity. They first evolved almost 300 million years ago, even before the appearance of the dinosaurs. They watched the dinosaurs come and go and meanwhile developed and vanquished the earth in a heap of structures, shapes, and sizes.
